SAG Awards 2025: ‘Conclave’ Dominates the Night, Demi Moore & Timothée Chalamet Shine!✨🎬 The 31st Screen Actors Guild Awards was a night to remember, with the papal thriller "Conclave" taking home the coveted top prize.
This surprising win prevented a guild sweep by "Anora," adding an intriguing twist to the Oscar race. With only one other best-picture award from the BAFTAs, "Conclave's" victory highlights how unpredictable this awards season remains.
The night also saw a major upset in the lead-actor category, as Timothée Chalamet won for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in "A Complete Unknown," finally nabbing the prize after consistently losing to Adrien Brody.
"I’m really in pursuit of greatness," Chalamet declared, aiming to cement his place among the greats.
Demi Moore triumphed in the fiercely competitive best-actress race for her performance in "The Substance," delivering an emotional speech dedicated to her younger self.
Meanwhile, Zoe Saldaña and Kieran Culkin continued their winning streak in the supporting categories for their roles in "Emilia Pérez" and "A Real Pain," respectively.
Adding a heartfelt touch to the ceremony, Jane Fonda accepted her lifetime achievement award with a powerful political message, reminding everyone that "this is it, and it's not a rehearsal."
