The viral short story "I Pretended to Be a Missing Girl So I Could Rob Her Family" is being adapted into a spine-chilling thriller, with Sweeney not only starring but also producing. 




The story, written by high school teacher Joe Cote, follows a con artist who fakes her identity to scam a grieving family—only to realize she’s walked into something far more sinister.
