In a fiery, now-deleted social media post, Ye accused Kardashian of exerting control over their kids’ identities, stating, “A white woman has control over the name and likeness of my Black children.” The rapper didn’t stop there, alleging that Kardashian tried to involve their daughter, North West, in a music collaboration without his consent.  

The drama centers around Kardashian’s business-savvy move to trademark the names of their four children—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm West. While Kardashian’s team claims these trademarks are for the kids’ future opportunities, Ye sees it as an overreach, arguing that it sidelines him from decisions about their children’s legacies.
