It all began when Trump casually dropped that he’s “very disappointed” in Elon Musk—hinting that their once-tight alliance might be history. Musk didn’t take that lightly and fired back hard, claiming Trump wouldn’t have even won the 2024 election without him.




Then came the plot twist: Musk dropped a bombshell by linking Trump’s name to the notorious Epstein files—without giving any receipts. That part? It sent shockwaves across both their supporter bases. To be clear, Trump hasn’t been accused of any wrongdoing related to Epstein, but Musk’s move turned this political rift into something far more personal. The White House tried to clean up the chaos, saying Musk’s meltdown was really about losing influence over a bill he didn’t like. But the damage was done.


Musk also trashed Trump’s major policy bill, called it full of “disgusting pork,” and even hinted at wanting him impeached. Yeah, it got that serious. By the end of the day, Musk posted a couple of lowkey soft-hearted reposts hinting he might want to patch things up. Trump, on the other hand, gave the classic “I’m not mad, just disappointed” vibe—until he subtly shaded Musk with a diagnosis of “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”


It’s giving break-up energy. Public, messy, and probably not over. As for the red Tesla Trump once bought to flex his support? Still parked at the White House. Awkward.
