I Bought a P60 Potato Corner Keychain and Now I’m Addicted 🥔💚 Okay, why did no one tell me Potato Corner was out here casually dropping the cutest keychains of the season? I walked into a branch just to grab fries and walked out with a limited-edition Pool Float Poco for ₱60 — and now I’m spiraling into a collectible obsession I didn’t see coming.

Here’s the thing: I was just craving flavored fries. That was it. I wasn’t planning to start a keychain collection, but Potato Corner clearly had other plans. For just ₱60, when you order any snack or combo, you can score one of their Summer Pocollectibles — tiny, pastel-colored Poco figures dressed for summer and dangerously cute.
I got the Pool Float Poco, which perfectly nails the “I’m-on-vacation-and-don’t-care” vibe. It has chill written all over it — the kind of keychain that makes you wish you were lounging by a pool with a sour cream dip in one hand and a Poco plush in the other. It’s well-made too: durable plastic, vibrant colors, and surprisingly clean paint for something that costs less than a tall iced coffee.
Here’s where it gets sneaky though. There are four total characters in the summer drop:
-
Surf’s Up Poco
-
Sandcastle Poco
-
Beach Ball Poco
-
Pool Float Poco (which I got!)
And of course, each one’s randomly available depending on the store and day. I asked the staff if I could choose, and they said no — what’s available is what you get. On the day I went, only Pool Float was left, but I’m not mad about it. The staff even said customers were coming in just to collect them all, so I guess this is the new mini toy craze we didn’t know we needed.
If you’re planning to hunt them all, heads up: these are limited edition, and based on how fast my store sold out of the other characters, they won’t last long. You can also order online via Shopee, Lazada, and even TikTok Shop, which means yes — it’s officially a modern Filipino collectible, powered by fries, nostalgia, and online chaos.
Is this the start of a new era where fast-food brands drop seasonal merch drops like streetwear? Because I’m here for it. Potato Corner has always been iconic in the Filipino snack world, but now they’re adding collectibles that honestly rival some capsule toys you’d find in Japan. The vibe is loud, snackable, and oddly emotional — kind of like a comfort object in the form of a keychain.
The only downside? I now feel low-key pressured to collect them all. And maybe that’s the real genius behind this campaign — turn your fries into a mission. A lifestyle. A statement.
So here’s my warning: go in for the fries… but you might just leave with a new obsession. I’m already planning my next visit — because I need that Sandcastle Poco like, yesterday.
