🧨 Trump Says Obama “Made Up” the Epstein Files and the Internet Is Imploding Again 👀

🧨 Trump Says Obama “Made Up” the Epstein Files and the Internet Is Imploding Again 👀 Just when you think the Epstein scandal can’t go any deeper, boom, Donald Trump throws gasoline on it and lights up the political internet all over again. This time, the former president is claiming that the entire Epstein file saga was fabricated — not just by political enemies, but by former President Barack Obama, ex-FBI director James Comey, and yep, the Biden administration too. It's not a Netflix thriller. It’s a real press gaggle in front of the White House, and it’s setting off a wildfire of reactions from truthers, critics, and confused supporters who aren’t sure what (or who) to believe anymore.

This week, the conversation around Jeffrey Epstein’s still-haunting legacy took another sharp and controversial turn. As of July 7, the Department of Justice and FBI officially stated in a memo that there is no credible evidence of a client list or powerful figures being blackmailed by Epstein. In fact, they went out of their way to stress that continuing to promote these theories only harms the actual pursuit of justice for victims. But what does Donald Trump do with that memo? He torches it — calling it fake, manipulated, and politically motivated.

In a now-viral moment caught on camera, Trump was asked whether U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi had briefed him on anything related to Epstein’s files, particularly if his own name had shown up in the documentation. Trump responded confidently with a "No, no." Then came the real bombshell. He claimed the files were “made up” by Comey, Obama, and Biden, tossing all three into the same conspiracy stew. If that sounds familiar, it’s because Trump recycled his old hits — the “Russia hoax,” the “witch hunt,” the “deep state”— and applied them to one of the most disturbing criminal cases in recent American history.

Let’s pause here. These aren’t just soundbites. This is a former president accusing two other presidents and a former FBI director of literally fabricating evidence in one of the most high-profile sex trafficking investigations of the 21st century. If you weren’t dizzy already, welcome to the 2025 news cycle. Trump then doubled down, defending Pam Bondi’s decision not to release anything further. He called her briefing “quick” but “credible” and insisted that transparency was important — just, you know, not yet.

Meanwhile, the July 7 DOJ memo stated that they reviewed over 300 gigabytes of Epstein-related materials and found no client list, no political blackmail plot, and no reason to revisit the idea that Epstein committed suicide in his cell in 2019. They emphasized that no third parties would be charged and that the spread of false theories about the files “serves neither justice nor victims.”

So naturally, the internet did what it does best: tore itself in half.

Trump loyalists, already skeptical of the FBI and mainstream narratives, clung to his claims like gospel. On the other hand, people who’ve spent the past five years demanding the unsealing of Epstein documents — from conspiracy theorists to survivor advocates — were left confused, furious, and deeply distrustful of everybody. What exactly is the truth? Is there even a truth anymore? Or are we just watching every political faction weaponize the Epstein case to feed their own narratives?

To make things even messier, Kevin Spacey, whose name appeared in unsealed Epstein court documents last year (without criminal implications), tweeted: “Release the Epstein files. All of them.” And in a rare moment of self-awareness added, “I hate to make this about me — but the media already has.” This was met with half-sarcasm, half-side-eye, and a whole lot of “you first, bro.”

But his comment hits a nerve. Because this case is no longer just about justice. It’s about perception, power, and the weaponization of information. Everyone claims to want the truth, but no one agrees on what that truth should look like. The DOJ says the documents are clean. Trump says they’re fake. Bondi says they’re credible, but won’t show them. And the internet? It’s trapped in a feedback loop of half-truths, redacted names, and TikToks with grainy audio pointing at passenger logs.

At this point, it doesn’t even matter what the files say. The damage is already done. Epstein’s name has become less about one man’s crimes and more about the suspicion that the elite will never face consequences, no matter how horrifying the evidence. So when the official story is “nothing to see here,” the public doesn’t just disbelieve it — they resent it.

And Trump knows that. He’s not speaking in a vacuum. He’s throwing red meat to the millions who want to believe that there’s still a secret list, still a scandal waiting to explode, still a takedown coming for the corrupt elite. It’s outrage marketing 101. And in a world that rewards engagement over truth, it’s working.

Meanwhile, the DOJ has made it very clear: no child pornography or explicit material will be released to the public. That part of the case, they argue, is sealed to protect victims — and rightly so. But this also feeds suspicion. If people don’t trust institutions, even the truth sounds like a cover-up.

So where does that leave us?

We’re watching history eat itself in real time. A former president accusing former officials of creating fake files in one of the darkest scandals ever documented. A public that doesn’t know who to believe. And victims whose names are barely mentioned anymore in the noise.

The Epstein files were supposed to bring answers. But instead, they’ve become just another symbol of a world where powerful men pass the blame while the truth rots quietly in a locked drawer somewhere in Washington.

The only question now is this — if everyone’s pointing fingers, who’s actually fighting for the truth? Or are we just stuck in a system where the louder your theory, the more people believe it?
